Empowering children and young people through creative and inclusive learning
‘Cause You Can is an award-winning charity using live performance, performing arts and filmmaking as educational tools, to raise young people’s confidence, improve their wellbeing and develop leadership.
We want all the children and young people who live in London’s deprived areas to benefit from equal life chances and opportunities. To help achieve this, we:
Boost confidence and self-belief, by unlocking creativity, leadership and life skills
Improve emotional wellbeing, by fostering character building and self-awareness
Increase positive relationships through our values-based educational framework
Work with schools to prevent and tackle mental health and behavioural issues
Raise skills and academic attainment, by supporting pupils who underachieve
Facilitate inclusion and participation, by aiding diverse communities’ cohesion
WATCH HERE the amazing work that we do in Primary schools.
We deliver fun and inclusive courses for children and young people in London’s most deprived areas. Our interventions develop their life skills and resilience, helping them to grow stronger, happier, and with greater hopes for their future.
All courses culminates in a film-screening or live performance co-produced, delivered and led by the students. The open events bring the community together. They empower the young people who come to realise that they too can succeed, make a positive contribution, and achieve what they want by working as a team.
“Class teachers of the children involved commented on the positive outcomes. The interactive methods employed by ‘Cause you Can strongly encouraged the children to participate, thus improving confidence, knowledge of others, social and communication skills.” Teacher, Herbert Morrison Primary School
